  Each year it is nice to see new upgrades. The owner is making a great effort.
  
  Only situation of concern were the young people in the back upstairs rental that were up all nite long with many guests. They did get quite rowdy several times and police came.
  
  We love this property!

  Great location, great layout, and great people to work with. This unit is RIGHT on the boardwalk with the sand and ocean just beyond. The boardwalk literally provides hours of entertainment just watching people walk, run, ride, bike or skate by. The pier and lots of restaurants, shops, etc. within immediate walking distance. Like most beach houses, the unit is a little older, but simply understand that going in. The Balboa Pier (which this is near) is the "quieter" of the two piers, so is great for those wising to enjoy the beach but not be caught up in the "party zone". Don't worry, there is still plenty of activity though. I understand the owner is refurnishing the main areas of the unit, so it should be especially nice going forward.

  The kitchen was the weak room of the house. When I pulled out the cutting board it was full of bread cumbs; and it was so pitted as to render it useless. Quality of kitchen ware was uneven, it would be impossible to put together a matching service for a sit down meal.

  The general condition of the house was very poor. The carpets were filthy, and the drywall was chipped off in many places. It just needs alot of work inside, very worn!!!

• Place was clean. Needed some repairs like the broken tile in the kitchen. Wished the mound of sand was not right in front cause it obstructed my view, but other than that I loved the location. So did my 13 yr. old grand daughter. She asked to return.

  Loved the availability of bike rentals, basketball courts, fire pits, volley ball courts. Cheryl @ Burr White was wonderful. I loved that she had a trusting attitude with me. She really made the whole arrangement easy for me. Everyone in the office was very friendly . Cheryl really gave me her time and answered all my questions. I will continue to work with her in the future.

  Location is the key to this property. It does need repairs in bathrooms. Tile is in bad condition. Things were in better "ready" condition this year. Almost everything worked. Patio was clean and swept. We enjoy closeness to activities and businesses.
