  Our oldest daughter is moving out of the house and out of state to work so we wanted something special to do to send her off. We found a great beachfront property on 55th street that fit the bill. We had a great week that included many friends who visited, family time, barbeques and quiet time. Crowds were non existent, the property was great for our needs. We would do it again and hopefully have another family member rent the unit upstairs.

  The only problem we had was with all the tv remotes..we could not get the dvd or tv to work..we had a lot of movies to watch that we couldn't..had to call someone the next day...they did get the dvd working but not tv...should be instructions on how to operate. There were 5 remotes!! other than that it was fabulous!

  General condition of the property has deteriorated from previous year. Owner has so many personal belongings stored in unit that storage was limited for our belongings. A thorough cleaning is in order.

• This was a great place and the owners did a great job with furnishings. I do wish the house was kept clean better. It was surface clean -- but the blinds had an inch of dust on them. I would expect the homes to be as clean as a hotel would be for

  This was our second year at the house. The first year was perfect in every way. This time there was a bright orange fence stretched across the beach and huge earthmovers travelling back and forth from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm all work week long. It was noisy (couldn't lie outside, couldn't hear phone conversations, etc), incredibly dusty and unpleasant. If we had known in advance that this was going to happen we would have selected another location. Would have appreciated a heads-up since it totally changed our experience from perfect to less than enjoyable at times. On the other hand, the management firm couldn't have been more accommodating - we had several things that needed attention from outdoor lighting that didn't function to a sliding glass door that wouldn't open from outside, to a fuse box that blew - not just a breaker, but the box, itself, had to be swapped out etc. The staff who came and fixed things was pleasant, fixed everything and came when they said they would. So, from the management perspective it was great. I do think that people should be warned about the earthmovers, however, we renters are spending alot of money and should have been forewarned.

We are sorry the sand removal was disruptive. Thank you for the compliments on our staff. These have been relayed to the staff and they are happy they were able to assist your family. Our maintenance department has checked the lighting, sliding glass door, and fuse box to ensure all equipment is working properly. The work being conducted on the beach has been completed.   The house was the nicest one we have rented! When we come to the beach, we really look forward to being outside. This house was perfect for that! It has a large patio with plenty of seating! Comfortable beds, fully equiped kitchen and beautiful decorations. Two small downsides..very small bathrooms and could use another love seat or chairs in the living room. We look forward to renting this place again!! Colleen

  We absolutely loved our stay, our house, the incredible beach accessibility and the recent upgrades to the property were beautiful. We are just very very sad that the price has doubled since we were there (I'm sure due to the improvements), but we can no longer rent our favorite place due to the $$$ :( Burr White is the absolute best way to ensure that you have a great vacation and everything will be provided at your house, in clean and working order.
