This was our second year at the house. The first year was perfect in every way. This time there was a bright orange fence stretched across the beach and huge earthmovers travelling back and forth from 7:30 am until 3:30 pm all work week long. It was noisy (couldn't lie outside, couldn't hear phone conversations, etc), incredibly dusty and unpleasant. If we had known in advance that this was going to happen we would have selected another location. Would have appreciated a heads-up since it totally changed our experience from perfect to less than enjoyable at times. On the other hand, the management firm couldn't have been more accommodating - we had several things that needed attention from outdoor lighting that didn't function to a sliding glass door that wouldn't open from outside, to a fuse box that blew - not just a breaker, but the box, itself, had to be swapped out etc. The staff who came and fixed things was pleasant, fixed everything and came when they said they would. So, from the management perspective it was great. I do think that people should be warned about the earthmovers, however, we renters are spending alot of money and should have been forewarned.

We are sorry the sand removal was disruptive. Thank you for the compliments on our staff. These have been relayed to the staff and they are happy they were able to assist your family. Our maintenance department has checked the lighting, sliding glass door, and fuse box to ensure all equipment is working properly. The work being conducted on the beach has been completed.
