About the Fair 
The Orange County Fair has a long history in the community. The first fair was held in 1890 in Santa Ana. The first fair was small, but in the years that followed, the fair continued to grow, and more people came! Today, the fair is an exciting mix of entertainment of all kinds! You’ll find everything from farmer’s markets to amusement rides. Best of all, the fair lasts for nearly a month, so there is time to explore everything! Carnival
The fair has so much to offer, and we’re starting with the carnival! If you’re into rides, you’re in luck! The OC Fair has many rides to choose from. There are two main carnival areas, Main Carnival and Kidland. The Main Carnival offers rides for older children and adults, while Kidland offers rides perfect for the little ones.
