The Newport Beach Pier has been a local landmark since it was originally constructed in 1888. The current Newport Pier was built in 1940 and offers a large public parking lot for easy beach access. The Newport Boardwalk runs the length of the Balboa Peninsula along the Newport Beach shoreline, leading to the base of the Pier. The soft sand and warm surf is the perfect place to enjoy a day at the beach. The immediate area is home to a wide variety of restaurants and local businesses.

The historic Dory fishing fleet sits on the sand next to the Pier. The open market offers the day’s catch, the freshest fish you can buy! If you would rather catch your dinner, join the local fishermen along the Newport Pier and cast a line. Many of Burr White Realty’s luxury oceanfront vacation rentals are just a short walk from the Pier and our knowledgeable vacation coordinators are available to answer any questions you may have. Oceanfront vacation homes are limited, plan your vacation early!
