The large patio on the sand has a built-in gas BBQ, elegant seating for large gatherings, dining table for enjoying dinner outside and a fire element for cooler nights. All the fun the beach has to offer is at your toes. The 48th street jetty & 48th street lifeguard tower are right in front. "Footwashers" at the gate allow you to clean off sand before heading inside.
LIVING & DINING
Take advantage of stunning ocean and Catalina views from the living room, open to the patio, featuring a gas fireplace and 60" flat screen TV. A 40" flat panel TV on the opposing wall is perfect for the kids or for watching sports. The master bedroom situated off the living room has frosted french doors - open them for an ocean view from the bedroom. A 27" flat panel TV in the master can be adjusted so it can be watched from the living area as well. All of the TVs are wall mounted and can be adjusted for optimal viewing.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, a desk for any work you might need to complete while on holiday, and a wall-mounted 27" flat panel TV for your entertainment. The guest bathroom has a tropical feel with sandstone sink top, copper bowl, and beautiful carved wooden mirror from the tropics. The third bedroom has a twin over double bunk bed, twin over twin bunk bed, and a 27" flat panel TV. The en suite bathroom has access to the exterior courtyard with hot water shower. This bathroom has the same luxurious feel as the others, with a large tiled shower, and accent lighting that looks like natural light flowing through a seashell.

Perfect Retreat Spot!
My husband & I held a work retreat at this oceanfront location. It was SO MUCH BETTER than a hotel for our small, close-knit staff. To fall asleep/wake up to the sound of the waves, grab a morning coffee & take a walk on the sand, eat all meals al fresco on the beautiful large outdoor patio or watch the sunset/moon rise around the roomy outdoor fire table...I couldn't have asked for more. Regarding the inside of the home, comfortable beds, large, fully stocked kitchen, smart tv's, easy access to wifi/technology for our meeting times, spacious living room adjacent to the patio...again, met or exceeded all my expectations. Will definitely book this location again next year for our next meeting!

Review of rental unit
Wish we had been told in advance about the water heater probs, but it was taken care of in a few days.... Had a great stay. There were a few areas of confusion with our upstairs neighbors, but they were resolved for the most part ( think it was their kids who got a bit fiesty, not the couple actually renting the unit). We won’t be able to stay again as we
now have a dog, and this unit doesn’t allow dogs.

Family Time
Loved the house. Great location and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable and homey. Only one downfall - when we arrived they were working on the beach with heavy equipment. It was loud and annoying. There were deep ruts to get through to get to the beach. Dangerous if you were older and had problems with mobility. Thought it would end on Friday but no they were back at it again Saturday morning.

California Get Away
Location Location Location! Can't get better than walking out of the front door onto the sand. Unit was very clean. Being so close to the ocean there were a few things that didn't work but nothing terrible. Kitchen was very nice and well stocked. The rest could use a bit of updating but all in all good.

Amazing home on the beach!
We rented 4805 SeaShore for my daughter’s graduation from college. When we arrived at the Burr White office, the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We have rented homes through AirBnB but our experience with the rental company was incredible! The house was beautiful, recently updated, but the view was amazing!! It was one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had!!

I worked for months planning a surprise party for my husband with all the family. We had so much fun! Although, it was Spring Break the beach was not packed and the only sounds we heard were of laughter.

Beach House Bliss
We rented this home to celebrate my oldest daughters engagement. It was just perfect. The fire pit outside was the perfect spot to retell the "engagement story" under the stars. The location was ideal on the beach and not right in the fray of everyone but close enough for a quick drive to our favorite Newport spots. The home was decorated and updated very well. We have actually already tried to rebook this home we enjoyed it so much.

Beautiful inside and out
Our family spent a week in this beautiful home. The outdoor living space was a favorite place to sit. The modern patio furniture and new patio cushions made it comfortable, and we used the fire pit every night. The outdoor shower with hot water was the perfect place to rinse off the sandy kids. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. The big kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook and entertain. We had two minimal issues that the management team corrected within 20 minutes of our phone call.
Be prepared and bring all your beach equipment chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and beach towels; there were none at the house.

What a fabulous place. It doesn't get better than this rental. To sleep with the sound of the ocean waves crashing just feet away. From the moment we stepped into this house, we knew we would have a hard time leaving. Everything was perfect. We loved the spacious patio area.

Best Vacation Ever
Can't say enough about how great our stay was. We are a blended family of 8 and this was our very first family vacation and it was absolutely perfect. Just what we were hoping for. The house was set up perfectly for us and our six kids. We cooked in most nights, road bikes around most days and spent hours and hours enjoying the sun and the surf. Walking out of the back foot onto the sand can't be beat. We have decided this will be a yearly tradition. We can't wait to go back.

Fantastic vacation. Weather was warmer than usual so being right on the beach was great! The house was perfect for us. We had dinner or drinks every night out on the patio. The only negative was the bedrooms for very hot for sleeping even with fans going. Overall it was terrific and we will rent again but when it is cooler.

Relax, reflect, and rest
A great get away. My mother died on the day of our scheduled arrival. This was a great place to rest, reflect and make final arrangements for her. She loved the ocean. My family,including my nephew and three of his friends loved the immediate proximity to the ocean. The four bunk beds in a small room was a bit crowded.

Newport Beach Get a Way
We wanted somewhere close to home on the beach so my kids could go back/forth to Los Angeles for their jobs but still get in 2 days on one end and 2 days on the other end. It worked out perfectly. we really had the nicest time. sunsets and fire pit to die for

Little paradise

It was good; loved the location a LOT; house was very nice and everything worked well and was upscale. I just wish it was more equipped with things like paper/cleaning goods as we had to supply all our own toilet paper, paper towels, sponges etc. I feel like for over $1000 a day you should supply that kind of stuff as hard for us to get the large items. LOVED the firepit as well! Also the property was not clean when we arrived and we had to leave until 5:00 the first day to allow them to clean. You did allow us an extra hour to check out which was nice.

PERFECT BEACHFRONT HOME!
We needed a quick get away at the beach for my Aunt who has terminal cancer. This couldn't have been more perfect! She loves the ocean and most importantly the waves. This home has the most wonderful setting for enjoying all that wave action. The patio is comfortable and well equipped. From a beautiful large fire pit surrounded by built in seating benches for enjoying at night, a stainless steel BBQ to make a yummy meal, and even an area when coming off the sand to rinse off your feet, to a multitude of cushioned chairs to enjoy the daytime view of the waves crashing on the jetties. The inside is impeccably furnished providing numerous TV's, one particularly large 60" in the living room, a wonderful large dining table which we used a lot, and a perfectly situated master bedroom for my Aunt to enjoy the views from bed. Beautiful stone work in the bathrooms. A ton of personality. We have rented in Newport for many years and this place is by far our favorite! Didn't find it until this experience and will be back for sure.

Wonderful Newport Beach Rental
This is our 2nd year to rent this property from Burr White. After trying various rentals on the beach in years past, we were thrilled to finally find a location we wanted to return to year after year. Excellent vacation
The best aspect of this house was the kitchen, the outdoor space and the location. The bedroom with the bunk beds was very very tight and i would recommend only children 18 and under and no one very tall or big. also the bedrooms in the back were VERY Very HOT with poor ventilation. Not comfortable leaving kids in the bunk beds with the back door open in order to facilitate air flow. I would ask that owners to something to fix that.

Seashore Perfection
Our 7 night stay in Newport Beach was fantastic. From the moment we walked into our vacation home, we knew we made the right choice! It was spotlessly clean and looked exactly as shown in the pictures. There was ample room for the 6 of us - each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the common areas were spacious.
The location, which is directly on the beach, couldn't be beat. We would start and end our day outside, on the sand. There were plenty of surfers to watch, but other beach goers would leave a wide berth when walking on the sand so we never felt like anyone was intruding on us. The location, which is directly on the beach, couldn't be beat. We would start and end our day outside, on the sand. There were plenty of surfers to watch, but other beach goers would leave a wide berth when walking on the sand so we never felt like anyone was intruding on us. Fabulous in Newport
Wonderful. Family and several friends gathered to celebrate a birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I love this house. The location is great; the best feature is the large patio and fire pit. WONDERFUL. I also really like the cool granite in the kitchen :) We will stay in this home again.

Great end to a Big Trip around the world
After having had to change property because our other booking with Burr had a clash, we certainly had no regrets going for this property. Its location is brilliant. Right on the beach but far enough away from the pier that it is super quiet. Evenings out the front around the fire pit watching the last rays were brilliant.
Couple of suggestions. It seems over the years the cutlery and wine glass supply has dwindled. Ok for a couple but a stock up would help a bigger family. We also had little (no) wifi coverage which became a pain but after we made a call it seems it was due to work up the pennsula. A prior heads up from Burr would have been appreciated so we could have arranged a work around better than having to stand out on the beach looking for cell / data coverage. There was also a nail on the kitchen floor that needs attention as it caught a few small feet.
Jane was a great help with our booking and helping us when our NYC flight in got delayed.
All and all tho a great place to stay.

Love this rental. Been to a lot of them and this one was clean had a great patio. Will absolutely use again.

Girl's weekend
This house was just as it was pictured online! Bree was great to work with, the house was clean, and the location was perfect! I would absolutely come back again, everything from start to finish was an amazing experience!

Beach Week
Just a great week at a great location. Only amenity that was troublesome was the grill. It needs replaced desperately. Everything else, top notch. Exactly what we needed for our vacation.
