Parade Overview
The parade is all about having some fun! The first Balboa Island Parade was held 28 years ago and is going strong! You’ll enjoy seeing local musicians, performers, and community leaders! The parade starts on Marine Avenue and winds through Balboa Island. There are several streets to enjoy spectating, so there are plenty of places to find the perfect spot for you and your family.
This Year’s Parade 
The 2023 parade will be held on Sunday, June 4th, at 11:00 a.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “Horsin’ around island style,” so get yourself, your friend, and your family dressed up for the occasion! During the afterparty, the local band “The Fabulous Nomads” will perform on the stage in front of the fire station. The energy is excellent, and you’ll be close to many Balboa Island attractions!
